I am Janset Bilgin. My jewelry journey started years ago, on the roads of Anatolia full of history.

My love and curiosity for archeology, history and my country made me choose my profession as a guide, which I have done for years. Ancient Ephesus was my thesis. Every corner, marble roads, stories, Artemisia  fascinated me more and more every day. The ruined city walls of Troy, its mysterious history of thousands of years,  Mother Goddess Kybele , who inspired and named my first collection years ago, the sculpture masters of Aphrodisias, its elegance, the sound, color, sadness, joy of Istanbul, the women of Anatolia, their looms and their endless labor...

Some of the details that still excite me even as I write this article.

And this wonderful journey has merged with my passion of design over the years. This journey continues. Both in my jewelry and in Anatolia. My friends and I, who are with me while writing this text, visit villages every summer. We witness such deep and precious moments that it is impossible not to be impressed. And after each journey, a new collection emerges. The motif of a fabric I find, an old lock, a rusty door handle come with me to my workshop in Galata, Istanbul. First it becomes a story and then jewelry. And it brings me together with you.
